Privacy Policy

1. What we collect
Inkeify collects the minimum data required to provide the service:
- Account data — your email address and name, provided when you sign in via Clerk.
- Billing data — payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- Usage data — anonymous page views and feature interactions via Vercel Analytics (no cookies, no cross-site tracking).
- Prompts — the text prompts you send to generate tattoo designs are forwarded to Google Gemini to produce images. Prompts are not stored on our servers after the request completes.
2. Your designs stay on your device
Generated images and project data are stored locally in your browser's IndexedDB. We do not upload, store, or access your designs on any server. Clearing your browser data will permanently delete your local designs — use the Gallery Export feature to back up work you want to keep.
3. How we use your data
- To authenticate your account and enforce plan limits.
- To process payments and send billing receipts.
- To improve the product via aggregated, anonymous analytics.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.
4. Third-party services

- Vercel — hosting and analytics. Privacy policy.
5. Data retention and deletion
Account data is retained while your account is active. To delete your account and associated data, email us at privacy@inkeify.com and we will process the request within 30 days.
6. Cookies
We use only essential session cookies set by Clerk for authentication. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
7. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
